Jordana has become in the last year to a little boy called Julian, unable to carry a baby for herself she used a surrogate, say she found it difficult to hand over the control of growing her baby to someone else but learning so much about herself with going through that process. I think its great that she has opened up about this, not all woman can carry their own child and its amazing to see that there is help out there and now she has got her happy little family with her little boy and husband.

We shared so many years of friendship, and he embraced life so much. The thing about Paul is he said hello to everybody. He didn't see people as different."

when I look at Jordana I see a gorgeous woman who has an amazing fit healthy body being Brazilian their culture is to embrace your femininity  and thicker curvier bottoms which I love I love their culture and how woman view themselves.

I am  such a fan girl of Jordana's she is elegant, sexy but is  sweet and lady like which you don't see that often in this day and age she reminds me of Audrey Hepburn.

The Lob (long bob)

There is a new trend of female celebrities taking the plunge and cutting inches of their hair to create a lob (long bob).

Though I want long luscious hair, I have an inner demand saying cut your hair, its that battle in my head the angle wants it long the devil wants it short. With not just celebrities but some of the ladies I watch on Youtube the likes of Essie Button and .... have taken to the scissors it looks so cute but edgy to that effortless easy to maintain hair style that keeps making me want to cut mine but I'm sticking to the long locks for now but here are a few of my favourite lobs I've seen.

When it comes to woman's hair its our crown and glory, we want to have glossy thick hair that's in great condition. I have been growing my hair over the last 2-3 years it is now its not to far off where I want it just by my ribs.

My hair isn't in that bad of a condition I use hair masks every week to give it extra nourishment, I try to use as less heat as possible and let my hair air dry and only use my straighteners for those crazy hair days thankfully they aren't often.

Over the last 9 months I have notice my hair has got a little thinner and need to give it extra love to make it grow healthier, I saw this product on the www.boots.com website it says it increases follicle productivity, its meant to help it grow past a certain length, it has pro growth and caffeine to stimulate grow as it says on the bottle its creating the best environment possible for the hair to grow stronger and healthier  "If the earth's not nourished, you'll never grow beautiful flowers"

To apply the product you wash and condition the hair towel dry and apply the spray comb it through to the ends of the hair and leave it in and style as you normally would.

I have been using this product for 3 weeks so far I haven't seen a big change but it takes a few months to see noticeable difference.
When its applied it doesn't leave my hair greasy or sticky or way the hair down it has a really nice scent to it also, I will give a bigger review when I have used it longer.

We have this ideal picture of beauty and over the last week all I have heard and read is about Renee Zellweger, people wondering what she has had done as she no longer looks like herself.  

We have this obsession with the way we look we are consistently judging our selves and others oh that person looks good for her age, what has she had done why can we age gracefully and why isn't it ok to look our age?

Renee has had no end of people judging her and how different she looks, why is it any ones business on if she has or hasn't had work done its different when man have had work done and it is noticeable
we don't say wow he's had his eyes done or had a face life but with woman we pick them apart wanting to know everything they have had done.

We need to stop judging what other people look like and whether they have had work done people should be allowed to what they want to their own bodies as long as its safe.

Every woman needs a staple red lip, it automatically changes your makeup, I went for a dark berry red lip I think it suites my pale complexion the one I'm wearing is from collection its called  revenge 3

For the day time when I want to rock a bold red lip I keep the rest of my face natural and let the lip stand out.

 

 

       

Autumn Layers

Autumn is my favourite season, the leaves are turning beautiful colours and falling off the trees hearing them crunch under your feet as you walk, which only means one thing cosy layers as the day get colder.

 I have layered to tops a green top from Primark £3 with a grey textured stripe top from www.h+m.com  £7 paired with super soft skinny jeans from www.newlook.co.uk £19.99  necklace also from H+M £2.99 the boots I bought from Newlook last year also my Primark coat that cost £25 which I bought 2 years ago so sadly they do not do any longer I love it, the colour is gorgeous it adds a pop of colour to my Autumn wardrobe.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation review

 

 

 

 

When it comes to foundation I find it hard to find one that fits my skin tone, I had read great reviews on Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation  so i thought I would check it out as it was meant to look great on those who have fair skin like myself.

 

When I tried it in store it looked great, but bring it home I found that the yellow base to it is very yellow on the skin. those with a yellow undertone to their skin need a yellow base in foundation but I found this to be a bit too yellow.

 

The good points about the foundation is that its a serum which is great for those who have dry skin as it locks in the moisture. It applies really well it goes on even giving a light to medium coverage and you can build layers of the foundation if you wish too.

 

It sets quickly and does last all day I wore it for 10 hours and it was still looking great at the end of the day.

Other than the colour I loved this foundation I may go back and try the shade up to see if that's less yellow.

when I comes to autumn winter I love a good pair of ankle boots, I fell for these as soon as I saw them, they were a little different with the 3 gold buckle detail on the side and just the right height to wear with jeans and dresses with tights I cant wait to wear them.

 

I'm not one to wear skits but I saw this I loved the rich colours, it is a tube skirt with a pretty print that will look great with a chunky knit jumper tights and ankle boots a little out of my comfort zone but looking forward to trying something new.

 

when I got to the till and had paid my bill they gave me a free goody bag I was shocked I'm guessing its because I spent over £40 here is what I got.

John Legend concert

On 9th October 2014 I went to see John Legend at the Motor point Arena Cardiff, what a delight he was and really funny too which I didn't expect.

Over the years I have been to a few concerts, it was really nice to go to a concert that was stripped back though it was a big arena it felt like you were the only one in the room. It was intimate the musicians were truly talented and john legend was awesome it was a great night definitely recommend it.

Ever since I was teenager I have always had pretty good skin, I've had the odd spot here and there like anyone but never had a big issue with my complexion.

In the last month I have had a spotty rash on my face, I don't no why but had to take antibiotics for it, whilst having this rash all over my face it gave me an understanding of how those who do have skin problems must feel.

It made me not want to go out the house, I normally wear light make up but I found myself piling on the makeup trying to disguise the marks that were all over my face too shamed to show anyone.

I have found a few tips about covering up spots and marks that will make them a little less noticeable.

1, Don't put a ton of makeup on I found the more I put on the more noticeable it was so I kept my foundation light then spot treated the spots just putting extra coverage on those areas.

2, Don't use a cover up stick as they can make the spot look dry and stand out more use a liquid concealer.

3, When applying the concealer dab a bit on your hand and use a brush or your finger to dab it only on the spot you only need a bit then dab a little pressed powder on top and then apply concealer again and then pressed powder it gives it a double layer locking in  each layer as you go and  not having to cake it on.

3, Always wash the brushes after you have used them on spot so your not spreading the bacteria from the spot.
